Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Wealth Agent to join a team and work closely with an iA Private Wealth Advisor. The ideal candidate will have a client-centric approach, ensuring that individuals and families receive the best possible and most suitable insurance solutions tailored to their needs. This role requires strong relationship management, impeccable record-keeping, and a deep understanding of insurance products and providers.
Familiarity with PPI guidelines and its suite of tools and resources is considered an asset. The Insurance Agent will serve as an ambassador for iA Private Wealth Advisors, maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurance providers while staying up to date with the latest industry trends and offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Solutions & Needs Assessment:
- Work closely with clients to assess their insurance needs and financial objectives.
- Research and recommend the most suitable insurance solutions, ensuring clients receive optimal coverage and benefits.
- Provide clear, transparent explanations of insurance products, terms, and conditions.
- Policy Management & Renewals:
- Maintain meticulous records of all client policies and interactions.
- Proactively review renewal dates and ensure timely follow-ups with clients.
- Assess clients’ changing needs and recommend policy adjustments as necessary.
- Industry Knowledge & Compliance:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and new insurance solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all insurance regulations and company policies.
- Utilize and leverage tools and resources provided by PPI to enhance client service and decision-making.
- Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance providers to secure competitive solutions for clients.
- Collaborate effectively with iA Private Wealth Financial Advisors to align insurance solutions with clients’ overall financial plans.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing ongoing support.
- Ambassadorship & Business Development:
- Serve as a professional representative of iA Private Wealth Advisors, upholding the firm’s values and commitment to excellence.
- Identify opportunities to educate clients on the benefits of insurance within a comprehensive financial plan.
- Participate in professional development and training to continuously improve expertise.
Qualifications & Skills
- LLQP Insurance Course
- 2 years minimum experience in life, disability, critical illness, and other insurance solutions.
- Familiarity with PPI guidelines, tools, and resources is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and recommend suitable solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and advisors.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing policy records and renewal schedules.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a financial advisor and insurance providers.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about insurance trends and regulations.
